Advancing Awareness & Research
At Summers Charity, our mission extends beyond fundraising events — we are committed to helping raise awareness for the critical work being done in canine cancer research.
Organizations like Penn Vet Cancer Center are leading groundbreaking efforts where compassionate veterinary care and innovative cancer research come together. Researchers, scientists, and medical collaborators are working across both human and veterinary medicine to better understand cancer and pursue life-changing breakthroughs that may benefit both dogs and people alike.
Through the work of Penn Vet's experts and their research teams, important discoveries are being made through collaboration, clinical studies, and comparative oncology research that continues to push the field forward.
While Summers Charity may represent only a small part of the larger effort, we are proud to support and raise awareness for the canine cancer research initiatives at Penn Vet through community-driven fundraising and advocacy. Every event, donation, sponsorship, and act of support helps fund Penn Vet's work and advances progress in the fight against canine cancer.
